LP1 team in the community
March 12, 2024The Fluor team is dedicated to giving back to the community where we live and work by being good construction neighbors and making a positive impact in the Boone County community. Here are a few ways our team has given time, treasure and talent in recent months.
Women of Impact
Fluor and Eli Lilly and Company are sponsoring the 2024 Boone County Community Foundation’s Women of Impact program. Since the program’s inception in 2017, members have awarded more than $300,000 to Boone County nonprofit organizations working to address local, unmet needs.
Minority business procurement event
In February, Fluor and Lilly invited approximately 100 Indiana registered minority business owners to learn about the LP1 project and how to get involved. The event was hosted at Golf Club of Indiana and catered by LA Café in Whitestown.
Boone County Chamber Annual Banquet
Fluor and Lilly separately sponsored the Boone County Chamber of Commerce Annual Awards Banquet in February. The event celebrates Boone County business owners and the impact they’ve made in the community.
