With more than 2,800 personnel already on site and new workers joining daily, Fluor remains committed to keeping both our team members and local farmers safe on Boone County roadways. To support this effort, the Boone County Farm Bureau and Purdue Extension have partnered with the Lebanon Project since before ground was broken in 2023 to promote the seasonal We’re on This Road Together safety campaign each fall and spring.
On September 15, farmers, Purdue Extension staff, and representatives from Eli Lilly and Fluor management distributed farming-themed hard-hat stickers and roadway safety tip cards to all personnel working on the project. This collaborative message will continue to be reinforced throughout the harvest season as additional workers and contractors come on board, underscoring our shared responsibility to drive carefully and watch out for one another on rural roads.
Special thanks to Kent Miller and Reynold’s Equipment for bringing the combine on site for display.
